Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock invites applications for a Global Knowledge Governance & Training Lead. You will enable employees and service teams with knowledge resources, lead governance and readiness initiatives, and drive capability-building across Global People Services.

The role partners with content owners and subject matter experts to enhance knowledge quality, accessibility, and self-service effectiveness while supporting change initiatives and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in knowledge management, learning and development, or HR operations.
• Experience creating or supporting knowledge content, procedures, or reference materials.
• Experience applying content governance standards and quality review processes.
• Experience designing and delivering training for diverse audiences.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills to translate complex information into clear content.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to develop knowledge and learning solutions.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Govern and improve employee-facing knowledge content and related processes.
• Audit knowledge assets for quality, accessibility, publishing, and governance compliance.
• Coach content owners and authors on standards and quality expectations.
• Develop governance docs, templates, and job aids.
• Monitor knowledge performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Onboard and enable content owners and approvers in knowledge management processes.
• Design, develop, and deliver learning programs and resources for Global People Services colleagues.
• Support adoption of new processes and technologies through learning and enablement strategies.
• Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person training sessions and workshops.
• Assess learning effectiveness and address capability gaps and business needs.
