Job summary

Jhpiego Inc. is seeking a Knowledge Management Advisor to rebuild and run the KM function, focusing on information governance, content findability, and hygiene. You will lead a phased program to stabilize the environment, remediate content, and establish governance for Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

The role works cross-functionally to define standards, coordinate owners, guide lifecycle decisions, and build staff capability for storing and reusing knowledge across Jhpiego’s global programs.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and proven KM system design experience in an international organization.
• Experience defining standards, governance models, and lifecycle practices for collaboration platforms.
• Ability to inventory sites, assess content quality, and translate findings into remediation plans.
• Experience strengthening intranet and enterprise content environments for findability and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead organization-wide inventory and assessment of Teams sites and SharePoint repositories.
• Define baseline governance, taxonomy, naming conventions, and lifecycle practices.
• Coordinate content migration and archiving with stakeholders across departments.
• Partner with content owners to assess relevance, currency, accessibility, and business value.
• Plan and deliver change communications and adoption activities.
