Job summary

Jhpiego seeks a Senior Knowledge Management Advisor to re-establish and lead our knowledge management program from Baltimore. You will govern information, improve findability, and establish sustainable practices for Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, collaborating across departments.

The role focuses on information governance, content management, and knowledge sharing, with a strong emphasis on measures of health, adoption, and effectiveness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of knowledge management, information governance, taxonomy, and content lifecycle.
• Experience building governance, policies, and intake/retirement workflows.
• Experience influencing diverse stakeholders and driving adoption across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory and assessment of Teams sites and SharePoint repositories, ownership and lifecycle status.
• Define baseline governance, taxonomy, naming conventions, and permissions standards for Teams and SharePoint.
• Establish site request, provisioning, review, and retirement processes with stakeholders.
• Coordinate content migration, archiving, and decommissioning of stale or duplicate content.
• Develop and report remediation backlog, work plans, and risk registers to Operations leadership.
• Support knowledge capture, dissemination, and adoption across Jhpiego's global portfolio.
