Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Partner Solutions Architect to join the Partner Growth & Strategy organization.

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic ISV partners, helping them architect, build, and optimize solutions on AWS, and drive go‑to‑market success through co‑engineering and enablement. You will work across architecture reviews, co‑engineering with partner teams, and evangelize partner-led solutions with AWS service teams, contributing to measurable design

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or software engineering.
• Experience designing or building cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned ISV partners, conducting architectural reviews, POCs, and Well‑Architected assessments
• Design, build, and validate scalable cloud‑native partner solutions through co‑engineering efforts that drive strategic design wins (SDWs)
• Develop reference architectures and best‑practice documentation for partner solutions
• Enable partner teams through workshops, immersion days, and hands‑on training; support readiness for ISV Accelerate, Competency programs, and Marketplace
• Collaborate with AWS field teams (Account SAs, AMs, Specialist SAs) to drive partner‑led customer engagements and pipeline growth
• Track engagement metrics, co‑engineering milestones, and strategic design win attainment
• Partner with AWS service teams to advocate for ISV requirements and influence roadmap priorities
• Collaborate across APO on territory strategy, partner prioritization, and joint planning
• Represent AWS at partner events and create technical content (blogs, case studies, whitepapers) showcasing partner success
