Pan Atlantic Foundation is seeking an International Area Representative for our High School Exchange Program. This flexible, entry-level role focuses on connecting international students with welcoming host families, promoting cross-cultural understanding, and providing ongoing support from start to finish.

The position offers remote work with flexible scheduling, travel within the assigned area for home visits, and opportunities to build relationships with local schools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and host family homes.
• Basic computer literacy for completing online documentation and applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the area to support exchange programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools to raise awareness of exchange opportunities.
• Promote exchange programs through community outreach and engagement activities.
• Guide host families through the online application process on the organization's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references.
• Facilitate host family orientations before student arrival and provide program guidance.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via calls or visits.
• Document interactions and progress in the online system.
