Job summary

Pan Atlantic Foundation is seeking an International Area Representative for its High School Exchange Program. This flexible, part-time 1099 role focuses on connecting international students with host families and supporting their experiences from start to finish.

You will recruit families, engage schools, and guide applicants through the process, with ongoing support throughout the stay. Remote work is available, offering a meaningful entry-level path into international education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools to raise awareness of exchange opportunities.
• Promote programs through community outreach and engagement activities.
• Guide host families through online application processes on the organization's site.
• Conduct in-home interviews and verify references for suitability.
• Facilitate host family orientations before student arrival and provide guidance.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via phone or in-person.
• Document interactions and progress in the online system.
