This flexible, part-time 1099 role connects international students with welcoming host families and promotes cross-cultural understanding while providing ongoing support throughout the exchange.

Responsibilities include recruiting host families, guiding applicants, and coordinating with schools. Remote work is available, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build trust with families, schools, and students from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable conducting in-home visits and interviews.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and host family homes.
• Basic computer literacy for online documentation and applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools to raise exchange awareness.
• Promote exchange programs through community outreach and events.
• Guide host families through the online application process on the organization's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews and verify references.
• Facilitate host family orientations before student arrival.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students.
• Document all interactions in the online system.
