Job summary

Scale is seeking a hands-on Head of Corporate Accounting to lead its global Corporate Accounting function. Reporting to the Global Controller, you will own general ledger, cost, and international accounting and consolidation, guiding a team across entities and ensuring a tight month-end close.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and corporate accounting leadership roles
• CPA license required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Strong experience with NetSuite
• Deep experience with multi-entity international subsidiaries and global consolidation
• Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full-cycle month-end close processes
• 5+ years of people leadership experience
• Ability to lead process improvement projects end to end

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close across all entities for timely, accurate results under U.S. GAAP
• Manage and develop GL, Cost, Revenue, and International Accounting leads and teams
• Oversee treasury operations including daily cash positioning and intercompany funding
• Own internal policies and maintain a control environment to reduce risk
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses for general ledger integrity
• Drive automation and efficiency in close using NetSuite and AI-enabled tools
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting, Finance, and Tax on new guidance and activities
• Lead external audit deliverables for the annual audit
