Scale AI is seeking a hands-on Head of Corporate Accounting to lead its global Corporate Accounting function. You will own the general ledger, cost, and international accounting and consolidation, guiding a team across the close and controls.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of accounting experience, a CPA, and deep U.S. GAAP expertise, with multi-entity consolidation and strong leadership. The role reports to the Global Controller and is based in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of accounting experience across public and corporate leadership roles.
• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong experience with NetSuite.
• Deep experience with multi-entity international subsidiaries and global consolidation.
• Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full-cycle month-end close.
• 5+ years of people leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Proven track record of end-to-end process improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close across all entities, ensuring timely financials under U.S. GAAP.
• Manage GL, Cost, Revenue, and International Accounting leads and teams.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash positioning, and intercompany funding.
• Own internal policies and controls to reduce financial reporting risk.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger integrity.
• Drive process improvement and automation in close processes.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting, Finance, and Tax on new guidance.
• Lead external audit deliverables for the annual audit.
