Job summary

Scale is seeking a hands-on Head of Corporate Accounting to lead its global Corporate Accounting function, reporting to the Global Controller. You will own the general ledger, cost, and international accounting and consolidation, guiding a team of leads and driving close process improvements, automation, and risk reduction to support Scale's growth.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and corporate leadership.
• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Deep NetSuite experience.
• Experience with multi-entity international subsidiaries and global consolidation.
• Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full-cycle month-end close.
• 5+ years of people leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Proven track record of end-to-end process improvement projects.
• Ability to influence change and streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the close: Lead the month-end close across all entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Lead the Corporate Accounting team: Manage GL, Cost, Revenue, and International Accounting leads and their teams
• Treasury operations: Manage daily cash positioning, bank relationships, intercompany funding and cash movements
• Policies and controls: Own internal policies and maintain effective controls to reduce reporting risk
• General ledger: Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses; maintain the GL
• Drive process improvement: Lead automation initiatives using NetSuite and AI-enabled close tools
• Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate with Technical Accounting, Finance, and Tax on new guidance
• External audit: Serve as a key contact for auditors and deliverables for the annual audit
