Job summary

Scale is seeking a Head of Corporate Accounting to lead the global Corporate Accounting function, owning the general ledger, cost and international accounting and consolidation. You will manage a team of functional leads, drive the month-end close, and implement process improvements using NetSuite and AI-enabled tools.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in accounting, a CPA, and strong leadership with global consolidation experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and corporate leadership roles.
• Hands-on leader with deep U.S. GAAP expertise and multi-entity global close experience.
• Proven track record of leading process improvement projects with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Own the close: lead month-end close across all entities per U.S. GAAP.
• Lead the Corporate Accounting team: develop GL, Cost, Revenue, and International leads.
• Manage treasury operations: daily cash positioning, bank relations, intercompany funding.
• Own policies and controls: maintain controls to reduce reporting risk.
• Oversee general ledger reviews, reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Drive process improvement: automate close, improve reconciliations and ERP tooling.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting, Finance, and Tax on new guidance.
• Coordinate external audit deliverables for annual audit.
