Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Worldwide Technical Business Development team for Storage and Data Protection. You will own the end-to-end GTM strategy, driving adoption, revenue growth, and customer success at a global scale.

You will hire and mentor a high-performance team, partner with AWS service teams, and shape roadmaps while establishing strong partner relationships, metrics, and executive-level reviews across worldwide markets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience.
• Knowledge of distribution networks and channel P&Ls
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
• Experience negotiating VP-level contracts with channel partners and agencies

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, develop, and retain a world-class team of Technical Business Development specialists.
• Own and execute the worldwide GTM strategy for Storage and Data Protection, including revenue targets, adoption goals, pipeline development, and market share growth
• Define customer segmentation, identify high-value opportunity areas, and develop targeted go-to-market plays for key workloads and industry verticals
• Build and scale programs — including workshops, immersion days, migration frameworks, and reference architectures — that drive customer adoption and accelerate migration from on-premises and competitive solutions
• Partner with AWS service teams to influence product roadmaps by surfacing customer requirements, competitive intelligence, and market trends
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with ISV, consulting, and systems integration partners critical to the success of the storage and data protection business
• Establish metrics and mechanisms to track business performance; deliver regular business reviews to senior leadership with clear insights and recommended actions
• Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, customer success stories, executive presentations, and industry engagement
• Collaborate with field sales leadership to align on territory strategies, account planning, and opportunity execution for strategic customers
