Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Business Development Specialist within the Worldwide Specialist Organization’s D2M team to drive adoption of data migration and modernization initiatives. You will orchestrate cross‑functional sales motions, leverage deep data domain expertise, and shape GTM strategies to accelerate customer migrations and modernization efforts.

You will partner with field teams, product owners, and partners to build scalable programs, influence roadmaps, and report to AWS

Qualifications

5+ years of professional or military experience.
5+ years with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute/Edge/Hybrid/Security/Networking).
5+ years in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
5+ years with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration tech.
5+ years in Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
5+ years in program management and metrics-driven decisions.
Experience presenting to executive audiences.
Experience shaping strategies influencing leadership decisions.
Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

Lead Specialist to orchestrate sales motions across teams to accelerate adoption of your technology domain (1-3+ years).
Leverage data domain expertise to create field enablement and sales strategies.
Support field teams in solution building for high-priority customers.
Provide market signals to product teams to drive roadmaps.
Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives.
Demonstrate thought leadership at industry events and conferences.
