Job summary

Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe, is seeking a strategic operator to scale international markets (UK, France, Germany, Canada) by partnering with Product and Engineering and owning market metrics. You will drive analytics and guide investment decisions across growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or related field.
• 5-6+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a fast-growing startup.
• Professional fluency in German or French with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to move quickly with little structure and guidance.
• Curiosity to learn about different parts of the business and how to pull levers to grow faster.
• Ability to operate independently and dive deep on ambiguous projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work and influence cross-functionally; proactive, clear communicator, and skilled at bringing stakeholders on board.
• Fluency in using AI tools to enhance problem-solving, analysis and execution across a wide range of business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Take Whatnot global: partner with Product and Engineering to scale international markets by building scalable solutions and owning market metrics.
• Scale our marketing engine: analyze marketing capital deployment, measurement and channel decisions.
• Build a great business: analyze margins and growth investments and translate findings into leadership recommendations.
• Help Whatnot run better: build tooling for tracking progress, resource allocation, and blockers.
• Deliver for our users: test new products, translate learnings into initiatives to improve buyer/seller experience.
