Job summary

NNR Global Logistics in the United States is seeking an Import/Export Agent to manage end-to-end international shipments, ensuring compliance and optimizing transport solutions. You will coordinate air, ocean, and trucking, and build strong client relationships.

Ideal candidate has HS diploma, experience in international freight forwarding, knowledge of TMS/CRM, and strong negotiation and inside sales skills to support customer service and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in international freight forwarding operations both Air and Ocean.
• Knowledge of TMS, CRM software, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and shipping logistics.
• Strong negotiation skills and customer-focused account management.
• Ability to coordinate complex transportation across multiple carriers and 3PLs.
• Experience with NVOCC operations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations related to international shipping is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communications skills for client interaction and sales.
• Excellent inside sales and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee import and export shipments, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Manage transportation planning and logistics for air freight, ocean freight (including NVOCC operations), and trucking services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth operations.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms with carriers and vendors to optimize costs and service quality.
• Utilize mulitple platforms to track shipments, generate quotes, and update clients.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, trade laws, and safety standards across all shipments.
• Lead client communication efforts through inside sales activities, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
