Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee freight forwarding operations, including booking shipments, scheduling pickups, and dispatching carriers.
• Manage transportation planning to ensure timely delivery while optimizing costs and routes.
• Utilize TMS, EDI, and CRM software to track shipments, update records, and communicate with clients and carriers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle data entry related to shipments, billing, and documentation accurately within CargoWise or similar systems.

Duties

• Coordinate and oversee freight forwarding operations, including booking shipments, scheduling pickups, and dispatching carriers.
• Manage transportation planning to ensure timely delivery while optimizing costs and routes.
• Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), EDI, and CRM software to track shipments, update records, and communicate with clients and carriers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle data entry related to shipments, billing, and documentation accurately within CargoWise or similar systems.
• Monitor freight movements using logistics sales tools to ensure efficiency and resolve any issues promptly.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of supply chain management, transportation management systems such as CargoWise.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations including transportation planning, dispatching, carrier sales, and freight management.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, inside sales, negotiation, contracts management, and logistics sales strategies.
• Familiarity with 3PL services, NVOCC operations, FDA regulations related to freight forwarding, and transportation compliance standards.
