Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Torrance, CA, seeks an International Operations Agent II to coordinate day-to-day import/export shipments across air and ocean modes. You will qualify requirements, prepare quotations, set schedules, and liaise with customers, carriers and ports to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• CCS certification is required.
• 3+ years in export/import operations are required.
• 5+ years as freight forwarder for international ops with knowledge of AES/CBP is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day import/export shipments across air and ocean modes.
• Qualify shipping requirements and obtain necessary documents for quotes.
• Set schedules and communicate with customers, carriers, and ports.
• Track shipments and resolve delays or issues to keep timelines.
• Ensure shipments are billed per company guidelines.
