Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an International Operations Agent II to coordinate day-to-day import/export of shipments into and out of the USA across all modes. You will qualify requirements, prepare quotes, set schedules, and work with customers and partners to ensure on-time delivery.

This role requires 3+ years in export/import ops and 5+ years in international freight forwarding, with CCS-Certified Coding Specialist or CCS required, and ITAR/DG knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in export/import operations.
• 5+ years experience as freight forwarder for international operations including: basic IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, Export Regulations, AES and CBP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Qualify shipping requirements with customers and gather all details.
• Prepare accurate profitable quotations.
• Set shipping schedules and coordinate loading, departures and arrivals.
• Track shipments and communicate delays or issues.
• Ensure proper billing and compliance with SOPs and KPIs.
