Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics seeks an International Operations Agent II to coordinate import/export of freight across all modes for USA-bound shipments. You will qualify customer needs, prepare quotations, and schedule departures and arrivals while maintaining KPIs and timely communication with customers and partners.

The role requires 3+ years in export/import ops, 5+ years as freight forwarder, and CCS certification; helpful ITAR/DG/TSA knowledge and CCS expertise are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required (or equivalent).
• 3+ years experience in export/import operations is required.
• 5+ years experience as freight forwarder for international operations, with knowledge of IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, Export Regulations, AES and CBP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day import/export of shipments across all modes.
• Qualify shipping requirements and obtain details for quotations and operations.
• Prepare profitable quotations accurately and set shipping schedules.
• Track shipments and communicate delays, damages, or issues to customers.
• Ensure billing and compliance with policies and timelines.
