Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an International Operations Agent II to coordinate import/export shipments into and out of the USA. You will work with customers to capture all regulatory and documentation details, prepare quotations, set schedules, and manage end-to-end operations for air and ocean freight.

The role requires several years of freight forwarding experience, CCS certification, and knowledge of CBP/AES regulations. Competitive benefits and a global team await.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in export/import operations.
• 5+ years experience as freight forwarder for international operations.
• ITAR familiarity and TSA/DG knowledge.
• CCS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day import/export of shipments across air and ocean modes.
• Qualify customer requirements and obtain necessary regulations, certificates and docs for quotations and operations.
• Prepare profitable quotations and set shipping schedules with customers and ports.
• Track shipments, communicate delays, and resolve issues to ensure on-time performance.
• Ensure shipments are billed within company guidelines and timelines.
