Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Air Import Agent II to coordinate day-to-day import operations for international shipments into the USA, across all modes, and to deliver a high level of operational excellence and customer service.

You will validate orders, secure routings and quotes, manage documents, track milestones, and ensure accurate cost accruals and profitability while maintaining compliance with Incoterms and cargo security requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Dangerous Goods Certification preferred.
• Certified CargoWise Specialist CCO required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and validate customer orders.
• Identify best routing and transit options.
• Secure quotations from vendors/agents.
• Issue quotations and confirm acceptance.
• Track flight arrivals and update milestones.
• Ensure timely delivery and update milestones.
• Accrue and finalize costs for profitability checks.
