Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an International Operations Agent II to coordinate day-to-day import/export of shipments into and out of the USA across all modes. You will work with customers to gather details, prepare quotations, set schedules, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proper billing.

The role requires 3+ years in export/import operations and 5+ years as a freight forwarder for international operations, with knowledge of IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, AES and CBP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in export/import operations.
• 5+ years experience as freight forwarder for international operations.
• Understanding of IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, AES and CBP basics.
• ITAR, DG or TSA regulations knowledge.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day import and/or export of shipments for international operations.
• Prepare profitable quotations accurately for customers.
• Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, carriers and ports.
• Track shipments and update systems, resolving delays or issues.
• Ensure shipments are billed within company guidelines and timelines.
• Comply with policies and standards and perform duties as assigned.
