Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. seeks an International Operations Agent II to coordinate import/export shipments across all modes in support of customers.

You'll qualify requirements, prepare profitable quotations, set schedules, and communicate with customers, carriers and ports to ensure on-time delivery. Requirements include 3+ years in export/import operations and 5+ years as a freight forwarder for international operations, with knowledge of IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, AES and CBP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in export/import operations.
• 5+ years experience as freight forwarder for international operations including: IATA/NVOCC, FAA, TSA, Export Regulations, AES and CBP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day import/export of shipments.
• Qualify shipping requirements and obtain details for quotations.
• Set shipping schedules and communicate with customers, carriers and ports.
• Track shipments and update systems to ensure on-time movement.
• Ensure shipments are billed within company guidelines and timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
