FreightTAS in Houston is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth in international air and ocean freight.
You will work with clients and internal teams to tailor logistics solutions, leveraging your 3+ years in freight forwarding to expand the portfolio and meet evolving supply chain needs.
This role offers a base salary of $75k-$120k plus an attractive incentive scheme and excellent benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain business development.
- Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding processes, customs regulations, and transportation modes.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding client portfolios within the freight forwarding industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify emerging business opportunities.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and strategic planning capabilities.
