Job summary

FreightTAS is expanding in Houston and seeks a proven Regional Sales Director to own the territory, grow revenue, recruit local sales talent, and shape the Houston presence. You will sell the full freight forwarding portfolio and build a strong pipeline with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and profitable growth.

The ideal leader brings a Houston book of business, deep logistics knowledge, and a proven track record in consultative selling to manufacturers and energy sector players.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience in logistics or transportation.
• Current, active Houston-area freight forwarding book of business strongly preferred.
• Proven success selling international freight forwarding solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Houston logistics market.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Houston territory by developing new business and expanding relationships.
• Sell full portfolio: air freight, ocean freight, import/export, domestic transport, customs brokerage, warehousing, and project cargo.
• Develop customer proposals, RFQs, pricing recommendations, and service solutions with operations and pricing teams.
• Drive disciplined pipeline management, sales forecasting, CRM updates, account planning, and performance reporting.
• Recruit, develop, and support sales representatives within the Houston market to strengthen local coverage.
• Deliver results by meeting or exceeding revenue, gross profit, activity, and customer retention goals.
