Job summary

Forward Air Corp. is seeking an International Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic and international freight movements across air, ocean, and ground modes.

You will coordinate with customers, carriers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient shipments from origin to final delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with 2+ years in logistics and proficiency in CW1 or similar systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese preferred.
• 2+ years in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience with CargoWise One (CW1) or similar systems helpful.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international import/export shipments across air, ocean, and ground modes.
• Support shipment lifecycle from initiation through customs clearance and delivery.
• Create and maintain shipment records in CW1 and other TMS/ERP systems.
• Schedule pickups/deliveries; coordinate with carriers, warehouses, brokers, and teams.
• Prepare shipping documents including air waybills, bills of lading, invoices, packing lists.
• Monitor shipment status; escalate issues; communicate updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Assist with customs clearance activities; ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Identify exceptions and discrepancies; support resolution and billing activities.
• Maintain complete shipment documentation and records; provide professional customer service.
