Job summary

Livingston International seeks a pricing and quotes professional for its IFTS Freight team. The role focuses on providing timely client quotes, supporting operations, and maintaining rate logs while collaborating with Sales, Operations, agents, and Livingston partners across North America.

The incumbent will ensure accurate air and ocean freight carrier rates, analyze net rates for best pricing, and keep clients informed of regulatory and industry changes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of international air and ocean transportation requirements, incl. dangerous goods, carriers, and networks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, agents, and colleagues.
• Ability to work with Operations, Sales and cross-border partners in US/Canada.
• Customer-focused problem-solving and analytical thinking for quotes and rates.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced freight environment.
• Proficient in MS Office to maintain logs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes to clients, agents, and sales within standard time frames.
• Assist freight operations and sales with rate requests.
• Update and maintain quote logs and reports.
• Maintain and update air and ocean freight carrier rates for the branch.
• Analyze carrier net rates to secure best overall pricing.
• Keep client quotations current in coordination with Sales and Operations.
• Develop relationships with carriers, agents, and Livingston partners.
• Inform customers of industry changes by phone or email.
• Support Sales with quote follow-up and coordination with IFTS Manager Freight.
