Jobgether SRL in the United States is seeking a Rate Analyst for Global Forwarding on a remote, part-time basis. The role focuses on international transportation pricing, providing timely freight quotes, and supporting commercial and operational teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining air and ocean freight pricing, evaluating carrier net rates, and collaborating with Sales, Operations, agents, and carriers across North America to deliver competitive solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, transportation, pricing, or a related field.
• Associate's degree or other post-secondary education.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate freight rates, compare pricing options, and identify competitive solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Operations, agents, and business partners across the United States and Canada.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of work while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide accurate freight quotes to clients, agents, and sales representatives within established service timelines.
• Support Sales and Freight Operations teams with rate requests, pricing questions, and quotation requirements.
• Maintain accurate quote logs, pricing records, and related reports.
• Maintain and update air and ocean freight carrier rates for the assigned market or branch.
• Analyze carrier net rates to identify competitive pricing and support commercially effective freight solutions.
• Review and update client quotations in collaboration with Sales and Operations to ensure pricing remains accurate and current.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with carriers, agents, internal stakeholders, and other business partners.
• Keep customers informed about relevant industry developments, market changes, and regulatory updates through telephone and email communication.
• Support Sales with quotation follow-up and related customer requests.
• Communicate with freight management and other stakeholders regarding pricing, customer, and operational requirements.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as required by management.
