Job summary
AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Pricing Coordinator to support pricing for RFQs and bids across international airfreight and sea freight. You will collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Tender teams to implement bids and select carriers that maximize bid benefits.
The role requires 2+ years in freight forwarding, and a high school diploma. UK-focused RFQ work and quotes over 500kg are part of the duties, with a path to contribute to growth and profitability.
Qualifications
- High School/GCSEs required.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Operational and Sales experience in international forwarding is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage costs, carriers and market-related adjustments.
- Support the UK pricing department in developing RFQs for all UK sites, local tenders over 500K and prepare spot quotes of 500kg or over.
- Contribute to the success ratio on the 30-50% range, providing our sales team a one-stop shop.
- Respond to monthly quotes requests to maximize conversion.
- Handle pricing support for RFQs supporting growth in international airfreight and sea freight.
- Work closely with operations and other stations to implement bids and utilize proper carriers to maximize benefits forecasted in the bid.
