Job summary

Livingston is seeking a Freight Specialist to develop and operate our Air/Ocean and Import/Export service offerings. The role requires coordinating shipments, communicating with clients and suppliers, and resolving issues to ensure performance in the supply chain.

You will manage bookings, prepare shipping documents, track shipments, and work with branches to meet metrics. Requires 3–4 years in freight forwarding and strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, assertive, and responds to branch metrics.
• Excellent knowledge of Freight Forwarding and regulatory requirements with at least 3-4 years in industry.
• Manages complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally.
• Ability to work in a blended operations and customer development role.
• Operations knowledge in trucking and freight forwarding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the routing of import and export bookings with airline and ocean carriers.
• Timely preparation of rates and quotes for customers and overseas agents.
• Support development of existing and new customers by collaborating with Branch Manager and sales team.
• Prepare shipping documentation and process import/export docs to clearing agents.
• Track and trace shipments and resolve billing/shipping discrepancies.
• Act as liaison with Custom Brokers and Ocean/Air Terminal Operators.
• Support branches quarterly metrics and adherence to procedures.
