Job summary

Cosm is a global technology company delivering immersive experiences. The Construction Foreman role is field-based, overseeing projection dome and LED installs with full accountability for safety, schedule, and budget.

You will lead teams on site, coordinate with GC and trades, and ensure quality and timely delivery abroad and at home. The position requires 5+ years supervising installations, strong project management, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervising construction or specialty installation crews.
• High school diploma or GED required; degree or certification in construction management preferred.
• Proven construction and project management skills: scheduling, budget tracking, GC and trade coordination.
• Effective people management: delegation, coaching, crew development, and accountability.
• Clear written and verbal communication across all levels of the project team.
• Continuous improvement orientation with ability to identify and drive practical solutions.
• Ability to read construction drawings, installation documentation, and technical work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policy, OSHA standards, and applicable government regulations.
• Conduct or coordinate daily safety briefings; enforce proper PPE usage.
• Stop work immediately when unsafe conditions are identified and address before resuming.
• Manage the full scope of installation from mobilization through final acceptance, including coordination with GC, subcontractors, and third‑party trades.
• Develop and maintain a daily work plan; use visual management to track progress against schedule, identify gaps, and coordinate team assignments.
• Coordinate site access, sequencing, and logistics with the GC's construction schedule.
• Report project status to the home office on a regular cadence (schedule, budget, quality, risks).
• Conduct formal acceptance review with customer at project close; ensure documentation is complete and submitted.
• Inspect installation daily against quality standards; document non-conformances and drive corrective action.
• Direct and mentor Cosm crew and locally hired labor; assign tasks and coach performance.
