Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead on-site installation and qualification of sophisticated semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites worldwide. This role emphasizes timely delivery, precise alignment, and seamless handoffs to customers.

You will diagnose and resolve complex issues, coordinate with engineering and regional teams, and ensure documentation and warranty sign-off are completed to standards.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree with 0 years related work experience or Bachelor's Degree with 2 years related work experience
• Experience with high-vacuum systems strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring on-schedule completion and quality standards
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex semiconductor capital equipment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify performance and transfer ownership
• Provide clear status updates to stakeholders throughout the installation process
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
• Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools
