Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead the on‑time installation and qualification of complex capital equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will be the face of KLA, ensuring smooth handoffs, quality installations, and strong customer satisfaction.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, verify system performance, and secure warranty sign‑offs. This role requires extensive travel and a strong technical background in electronics, optics, and high‑vacuum systems.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for semiconductors.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Experience with Windows/Unix environments and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring on‑time delivery and quality.
• Diagnose and resolve installation issues by identifying root causes and applying fixes.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration and verification of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Coordinate with regional teams to verify performance and transfer tool ownership.
• Provide regular status updates and complete installation documentation on schedule.
• Obtain warranty sign‑off for newly installed tools.
