Job summary

KLA is hiring for a Product Installation Engineer to lead the on‑time installation and qualification of sophisticated capital equipment at customer sites worldwide.

You will work closely with regional teams, engineering, and customers to ensure smooth handoff, documented processes, and successful warranty initiation. The role requires travel and a strong foundation in electronics, optics, and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's with related work experience.
• Experience with high‑vacuum systems strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership.
• Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process.
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time.
• Secure warranty sign‑off on newly installed tools.
