Job summary

KLA seeks a Product Installation Engineer to lead on-site installation and qualification of complex capital equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will ensure on-time delivery, proper handoff, and warranty start, while representing KLA with customers.

The role requires extensive international travel, cross-functional collaboration with engineering and regional teams, and strong problem-solving across electronics, optics, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electromechanical, and electrooptical systems.
• Experience with highvacuum systems preferred.
• Comfort working with Windows/Unix environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly selfmotivated, organized, and detailoriented.
• Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies.
• Master's level degree with 0 years or Bachelor's with 2 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership.
• Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process.
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time.
• Secure warranty signoff on newly installed tools.
