Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead on-time installation and qualification of advanced semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites worldwide. You will represent KLA, ensuring smooth handoff, predictable cycle times, and a successful warranty start.

The role requires 6 days/week work and 90%+ travel, with strong technical knowledge and cross-functional collaboration across regions and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree with 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Degree with 2 years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electromechanical, and electrooptical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues.
• Setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of complex capital equipment.
• Collaborate with regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance.
• Provide clear status updates to stakeholders during installation.
• Complete installation documentation and warranty signoff.
• Extensive travel domestically and internationally to support installations worldwide.
