Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead on-site installation and qualification of our capital equipment for customers worldwide. You will manage handoffs, ensure timely deliveries, and drive high customer satisfaction through technical excellence.

You will travel extensively, work with cross-functional teams, and maintain precise documentation while delivering installations that meet quality standards and warranty criteria.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent with entry-level or relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years related experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites worldwide, ensuring on-schedule deployment and quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Collaborate with regional teams, engineering, and customers to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership.
• Provide clear status updates to stakeholders throughout the installation process.
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time.
• Secure warranty signoff on newly installed tools.
