Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Installation Engineer to lead ontime installation and qualification of advanced capital equipment at customer sites around the world. You will own installation performance, handoff, and warranty signoff, representing KLA with customers and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

The role requires extensive travel, cross-functional collaboration, and strong technical knowledge of electronics, optics, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

Master's degree with 0 years experience or Bachelor's degree with 2 years related experience.
Willing to travel 90%+ and work 6 days/week.
Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electromechanical, and electrooptical systems.

Responsibilities

Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites worldwide.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve installation issues.
Set up, align, calibrate, and verify complex capital equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to verify performance and transfer tool ownership.
Provide clear status updates to stakeholders throughout the installation process.
Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements; secure warranty signoff.
