Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an Infrastructure Technical Program Manager to support and deploy one of the world’s largest fiber networks within the Global Connectivity Infrastructure Delivery group. You will lead strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and coordinate with internal customers and vendors to deliver on-time, high-quality fiber deployments.

This role requires onsite field visits, extensive collaboration across engineers and management, and a focus on risk mitigation,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• 3+ years managing third-party construction or infrastructure vendors, tracking delivery timelines and KPIs.
• 3+ years auditing completed construction, reviewing fiber test results, and coordinating site access in security-regulated environments.
• 3+ years proactively identifying deployment bottlenecks and balancing business needs with technical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to GCID-FD Deployment Manager; provide regular updates to NASA and Global Senior management.
• Drive network infrastructure strategy as a key member of the North/South America GCID-FD team.
• Manage vendor delivery timelines, measure progress, and rate performance through KPIs.
• Build quality management program tracking defects, mitigate risks, and implement root-cause analysis and performance measures.
• Create standardized reporting for deployment progress and deliver to management and stakeholders.
• Manage approved network plans with internal customers and construction vendors through to in-service delivery.
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects/programs, some at global scale.
• Interface with engineers, technicians, vendors, and senior management.
• Audit completed construction, review fiber test results, and coordinate site access.
