Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an Infrastructure Technical Program Manager to support and deploy one of the world’s largest telecommunications networks. You will drive strategic plans to improve business processes and oversee quality control for inspections, coordinating with the GCID-FD group to ensure timely delivery schedules.

Travel is 25-40%. You will partner with engineers, vendors, and senior leaders to manage multiple cross-functional programs and ensure successful network deployment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• +5 years experience Greenfield OSP Builds.

Responsibilities

• Drive overall Network Infrastructure strategy as a GCID-FD team member.
• Manage vendors to deploy on time, measure progress, and track quality KPIs.
• Develop quality management programs to track defects and mitigate risks.
• Create reporting mechanisms and provide regular progress updates to management.
• Coordinate with internal customers and stakeholders to deploy approved network plans.
• Lead cross-functional programs and coordinate with engineers, vendors, and senior management.
• Audit completed construction work and review fiber test results.
