Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Fiber Delivery Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to drive large-scale, global fiber deployments and manage cross-functional teams. You will oversee pre-terminated fiber processes, coordinate engineering, procurement, and deployment, and report progress through dashboards and KPIs.

The role emphasizes vendor management, Kaizen-based improvements, and executive communication across regions, with substantial travel expected.

Qualifications

3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Drive the implementation of large-scale fiber deployments on a global scale.
Collaborate with Stakeholder teams to gather fiber deployment requirements.
Develop and Maintain Process Documentation.
Program Manage pre-terminated fiber cable process from Intake, Engineering, Business Development, Material Acquisition, Deployment and Closeout.
Provide Deployment support for projects, augmenting the local region TIPM across the globe.
Create and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs to measure program effectiveness.
Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships, including developing vendor KPIs and performance metrics.
Drive process improvements through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
Lead regular executive updates and cross-functional team communications.
Manage program budget and resource allocation across global regions.
