Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a GES Senior Manager to lead taxation of equity compensation, deferred compensation/409A, 162(m), 280G/Golden Parachute analyses, ASC 718 and ASC 740, payroll taxes, and related compensation matters for individual and corporate tax returns in the United States.

You will supervise tax GES Managers and below, train staff on Excel/Access tools, collaborate with engagement teams, and provide insights to clients while delivering high-quality tax work and timely performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Accounting preferred.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• CPA certification or JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes client deliverables related to compensation tax matters.
• Applies firm policies and Tax Quality Manual requirements for equity compensation, 409A, 162(m), 280G/Golden Parachute analyses, ASC 718, ASC 740, payroll taxes, and related returns.
• Researches and prepares compensation planning and benchmarking for executive compensation models.
• Identifies situations when additional research is necessary and uses appropriate sources.
• Communicates with clients in writing and verbally; demonstrates strong executive presence.
• Mentors GES Managers and below; provides performance feedback and training.
