Job summary

BDO USA seeks a GES Senior Associate to develop and implement strategies that maximize client benefits by reducing current and future taxes. You will handle taxation of equity and deferred compensation, and corporate and individual tax plans, while contributing to compensation consulting engagements.

The role involves research, compliance tasks, strategy development, and supervisory responsibilities over Associates and Interns, with opportunities to influence client outcomes and grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or HR required; Master’s preferred.
• Two or more years of related experience in compensation, consulting, or tax advisory.
• Certified Compensation Professional or CPA preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; experience with statistical software a plus.
• Strong English writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify when research is needed and outline issues with sources.
• Ensure clients comply with authorities while minimizing tax burdens.
• Advise on compensation opportunities and executive compensation benchmarking.
• Assist in market studies and development of compensation strategies.
• Supervise associates and interns; provide training and performance feedback.
