Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead tax-related work on equity compensation, deferred compensation and related areas. The role includes client deliverables, research, benchmarking, and mentoring junior staff within the compensation & benefits practice.

Responsibilities cover collaboration with tax and audit teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and adhering to firm quality standards. The position emphasizes communication, deadline discipline, and professional judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required; focus preferred.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
• Eight or more years of experience in compensation & benefits is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute client deliverables related to compensation and benefits taxation, including calculations and memos.
• Apply firm policies and Tax Quality Manual requirements for equity compensation, deferred compensation, 162(m), 280G and ASC 718/740 analyses.
• Research and prepare compensation planning and benchmarking for executive compensation models.
• Communicate with clients in writing and verbally; maintain professional client relationships.
• Mentor and supervise GES Managers and below on engagements; ensure proper training on tax software.
