Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Strategy Leader to grow the Clinical Data business with top pharmaceutical partners, driving market strategy and adoption across global customers.

The role requires deep familiarity with clinical data, CROs, pharma, and technology partnerships, and the ability to push for new operating models. You will connect with data and clinical leaders worldwide and collaborate with sales to win opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in clinical research or healthcare data flow.
• Experience in a product company in a customer-facing role, ideally selling or positioning the product.
• Industry data management and/or consulting experience.
• Experience in sales, account management, or business development desirable.
• Strong communication, creative thinking, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to innovate across business processes and technology solutions.
• Ability to hold meaningful conversations with business and IT executives regarding Clinical Data introduction, adoption, and scaling.
• Deep understanding of clinical data industry trends.
• Understanding of global product development, clinical trial process, and regulations.
• Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Growing and sustaining the customer base for Clinical Data.
• Develop and execute the Clinical Data vision for enterprise sponsors.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders within and adjacent to Clinical Data.
• Use professional networks and relationships to assist with adoption.
• Develop value-oriented materials oriented to enterprise sponsors.
• Provide thought leadership and sales support to teams in driving adoption of Clinical Data products.
• Provide business and technology guidance to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality in Clinical Data applications.
• Keep current with industry trends and engage customers addressing their business challenges.
• Present at industry conferences, lead webinars, and author articles for industry publications.
• Other special Clinical Data projects as assigned.
