Job summary

Firetrace International is seeking a Business Development Manager – Global Energy & Emerging Markets to identify, develop, and convert opportunities across clean energy and adjacent high-growth markets. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships with OEMs, utilities, developers, EPCs, integrators and asset owners/operators.

You will drive revenue growth through consultative selling, technical storytelling, and collaborative execution with cross-functional teams, traveling as needed to

Qualifications

• 2+ years in business development, strategic sales, or related commercial roles in energy, industrial, or fire protection sectors.
• Proven ability to prospect, build a qualified pipeline, navigate complex sales cycles, and convert opportunities into revenue.
• Experience engaging OEMs, utilities, EPCs, developers, integrators, distributors, or other energy customers.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Experience communicating technical solutions in terms of customer value and business outcomes.
• Ability to work independently and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand Firetrace solutions.
• Build and convert a qualified pipeline across OEMs, utilities, developers, EPCs, integrators, and asset owners/operators.
• Penetrate emerging markets with account-specific strategies and identify opportunities.
• Communicate the technical and commercial value of Firetrace solutions and risk reduction benefits.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to move opportunities from engagement to close.
