Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a New Equipment Project Manager to oversee coordination on multiple new equipment installation projects. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with safety standards while coordinating with sales, field operations, and leadership.

Responsibilities include contract administration, billing, RFIs, and change orders, with regular updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related elevator project management and/or construction experience.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of activities on multiple new equipment installation projects.
• Ensure projects are on schedule and within budget while meeting safety and regulatory standards.
• Deliver first-in-class customer service and adhere to Otis Absolutes.
• Coordinate contract activities from award to handover and close of project.
• Provide regular progress updates to branch, regional, and senior leadership.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and regulatory authorities.
• Manage billing, owner/contractors’ payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Read and interpret architectural/structural drawings and assess cost changes.
