Job summary

Otis Elevator Company seeks a New Equipment Project Manager in New York to oversee coordination of multiple installation projects. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include contract administration, billing management, and liaison with clients, architects, and authorities. Requires 3+ years in elevator project management and strong leadership, with a bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience required.
• Knowledge of cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder relationships.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion and provide progress reviews.
• Communicate with clients, general contractors, owners, and authorities about design and scheduling.
• Work with sales, superintendents, and leadership to ensure project success.
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret contract documents to determine cost and contingencies.
