Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Global Engagement department seeks an Academic Program Coordinator to advise students and manage education abroad programs, coordinating with domestic and international partners on pre-departure and re-entry activities. You will recruit and admit students, design information sessions, and integrate programs into degree plans.

Collaborating with academic units and campus offices, you will ensure successful delivery and ongoing administration while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or a master’s degree and one year of relevant experience.
• Experience developing or managing programs or projects and working well in a team environment.
• Experience working with college students or similar populations.
• Exhibit professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/intercultural communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of exchange and affiliate programs and ensure administrative processes.
• Serve as primary contact for students and providers/partners; liaise with academic advisors and campus offices.
• Develop and review reciprocal exchanges and affiliated programs; recruit and prepare students for programs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop materials for fairs, events, and information sessions.
