Job summary

UT Austin's Global Engagement seeks a Sponsored and Exchange Program Coordinator to support international students and scholars. The role focuses on meticulous record-keeping, data management, and compliance across sponsorships and exchange programs within Texas Global.

Reporting to the assistant director for student advising services, the position emphasizes collaboration with ISSS and academic units to ensure smooth transitions from admission through advising and to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Experience with student records systems and immigration compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sponsored and exchange student processes as a DHS DSO and ARO with data integrity and regulatory adherence.
• Oversee student information systems and ensure cross-system synchronization.
• Develop support frameworks for sponsored/exchange students from admission to advising.
• Supervise and mentor graduate assistants on the student advising team.
• Collaborate with ISSS leadership to interpret immigration regulations and policies.
